✹ ABOUT US
Progress can be made in small steps. It's about being mindful of the little things we do and recognising that even the most subtle actions can have a ripple effect; we can inspire and motivate others, creating a more positive and energetic atmosphere. It can be as simple as sharing a kind word or lending a helping hand. Ultimately, it's about understanding that each of us has the power to make a lasting impact.
We are a group of third-generation Palestinian refugees anchored in our local communities through collective ownership and responsibility. Our experiences of forced displacement, war, occupation, and the struggle for a homeland have instilled in us a strong commitment to compassion, social justice, solidarity, and the right to a dignified existence. These values shape our narrative and mission to provide meaningful and rewarding experiences that allow international volunteers to learn, collaborate and take action with us.
Our ultimate goal is to build bridges between cultures, foster cooperative problem-solving, and encourage personal growth. We strive to create a safe and supportive environment for volunteers from all backgrounds and ensure they have the resources they need to positively impact the communities they serve. Through this, we aim to inspire and empower individuals to use their skills and knowledge to create positive change in the world. And you are more than welcome to join us ♥
The work we do is infused with an ethical commitment to social and environmental responsibility, and we want to nurture a spirit of giving and selflessness that fosters sustainable growth. Hence, we do not retain any profits; all funds we generate are redistributed and reinvested to benefit our local communities. In this way, we enable our fellow community members through economic empowerment, education, civic engagement, access to healthcare and emotional support, mentorship programmes, and other essential services.
